Mariah Carey’s lastest album E=MC2, released by Island Def Jam, has sold 463,000 units to reach the Billboard #1 spot this week. It is currently the highest selling album of 2008.
Knocking Leona Lewis off the top of the chart where she has resided for one brief week, Carey’s E=MC2 also beat the sales of her last album The Emanicpation of Mimi which shifted 404,000 units when it came out in 2005.
