UK Music Industry Mourns Tubby T

The UK music industry is mourning the recent death of dancehall and garage artist Tubby T whose funeral is to be held on Friday 6th June.

North London based Tubby T - whose real name is Anthony Robinson - first suffered a stroke in 2004 from which he never fully recovered. He was unfortunately unable to survive a second, more recent, stroke which was to prove fatal. (more…)

Usher Stands At #1 in UK and US

Here I Stand - the latest and fifth album from R&B singer Usher - has topped the album charts in both the UK and US this week.

Selling around 400,000 copies in America, Here I Stand is Usher’s second album after Confessions to have reached number one on the US Billboard Charts. Sales of his latest release are some way off from those of Confessions which shifted 1.1 million units in its first week of release in 2004 and remains one of the highest selling male solo albums, with total sales of 9.5million in the US alone.
